Tranquility

Talus Rock Retreat is a 30-acre paradise strategically located in a natural and beautiful setting less than two miles from downtown Sandpoint. In keeping with the intended tranquility and serenity of the Retreat, and out of respect for our neighbors, this haven serves only those individuals desiring a traditional, private and intimate gathering held in an idyllic, peaceful setting. If you are looking for a more energetic venue, please ask us about our exclusive off-site party, event, wedding, and reception locations. General:
Facility is equipped with air conditioning and high-speed wireless internet. We encourage carpooling to Talus Rock Retreat to reduce traffic and pollution, and preserve the beauty of the natural surroundings. Less is more.
Out of respect for other guests and for security purposes, only lodging guests are permitted to wander the living spaces of the Retreat.

Housekeeping:
Clean towels, a change of sheets, and bathroom cleaning are included after the 3rd night’s stay in the Syringa Suite, Arbor Room and the Nooma Room. Additional housekeeping can be arranged. While renting the entire Talus Rock Retreat, cleaning, bedding, and towel changes are included after every 15th night’s stay. Additional housekeeping is available. Please request rates.

Pets:
There is a flat fee of $50 per pet. All pets must be 40 lbs or less. Due to maintaining the peace, we ask that any barking, whining, chewing or scratching pets remain comfortably at home.

We remind our guests that reservations made during Holidays, Holiday weekends, Special Sandpoint Events (Lost in the 50’s, The Festival at Sandpoint, Oktoberfest, Winter Carnival, Timberfest, and the International Draft Horse Show), and the months of January, June, July, August, and December are subject to the "Cancellation Policy B" terms detailed in the Talus Rock Retreat Policy Sheet.
